  • The Human Body: From the View of Chakras, Koshas, Pranas & Vayus
  • Ethical Principles of a Children’s Yoga Instructor
  • Yoga’s Effects & Healing Benefits for Common Health Ailments & Conditions in Children

Practical:

  • Practicing Yogic Poses, Breathing Techniques, Gestures (Mudra) & Concentration Techniques in a Kids’ Yoga Class
  • Yoga Props in a Kids’ Yoga Class
  • Modification of Yoga Poses for Different Developmental Stages
  • Introducing Concentration Techniques and Meditation & Mindfulness Practices in Kids’ Yoga
  • Sequencing & Managing a Kids’ Yoga Class
  • Developing Themes for a Kids’ Yoga Class
  • Benefits of Yoga as a Complimentary Practice for Sports (such as martial arts, swimming, tennis, football, golf, etc.)

Theory/Practical

Andiappan Yoga Self-Practice Classes (Optional)
*strongly recommended. A chance to get to know
the teachers and ask them questions about syllabus poses.

Assignment/Self-Study 10 HOURS
YTT Group Practice Class 2 CLASSES x 2.5 HOURS = 5 HOURS
