As more people practice yoga today, the flexibility of the body is greatly challenged when doing back bending postures. Learn the techniques for before, during and after which are essential for anyone who wish to practice deep backward bends. The workshop will cover simple breathing techniques, and warm up techniques which will help improve backward bending postures. It will help overcome common fear, dizziness, back muscle pain, compression, shivering sensation, breathing difficulty and overcome core muscle weakness. It will also cover proper counter postures which are key to avoid injuries and muscle stiffness. Tips on standing drop back, bow pose, pigeon and many more will also be covered. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your back and it's limits. It is suitable for yoga practitioners who have been practicing regularly for more than three months.

Hamstrings, the most common form of injury in yoga today and many people associate hamstring with forward bend pose.
When a yoga practitioner including the most experienced do not focus or listen to their body when practicing front bending movements, they might let their back collapse, lock their knees or over use the strength of their arms, these may all lead to injuries and severe pain. Hence, it is vital to know the limits of the body and to do a proper warm up for the hamstrings and back muscles to improve one's forward bend. Tips on Tortoise pose, seated front split and inverted tortoise pose will be covered during this workshop. Time will be allocated at the end of the workshop for questions and queries on front bending pose which will be discussed and answered.

The workshop will start from basics to the more advanced twisting postures. It will explore all the twisting poses focusing on the different segment of the spine. Attendees will definitely feel more opened and flexible in the shoulders and back muscles. As an added bonus, one will have improved bowel movement after the workshop. For the Ladies, twisting is a great way to get a flat tummy and to achieve a curvy waistline as well. So let's get ready to twist and twine. At least three months of regular yoga practice is recommended for those intending to attend this workshop.

When one thinks of inversion, they immediate think of falling down. Hence, the workshop will begin by teaching one how to fall down during an inversion practice. Yes there are actual techniques on how to fall down during an inversion to avoid breaking or hurting the back and neck. It is not a promise that you will be able to do a head stand without falling down in just one workshop, but you will definitely learn how to fall down if one loose the balance. Knowing how to fall will really give one the confidence to practice inversions such as the headstand, scorpio and full handstand. The workshop will provide step by step approach to the basics of inversion and all other aspects such as point of focus during the balance, muscle engagement, breath control, and using supports such as the wall, props and partner's help. The aim is for each attendee to leave the workshop without fear of inversion
