Comments and Feedback about
Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Level 2

First of all, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to help me improve the foundation for all the aspects towards yoga, and of course, your extremely hard work.

The first day, I thought I was in a wrong place, and regretted to join in the training, as it was very intensive and hard, however, as time goes by, I started enjoying the training, intensity and appreciated understanding my weakness (arm strength!) too.

It’s so different from group lessons I normally take, and I didn’t realize how much I can do and how far I can go in fact.

I will keep practicing the techniques I’ve learnt through the training for sure.

Thank you so much again for your help.

Namaste,

The Level 1 & 2 TT was intense, fun and an amazing learning experience.  I had no idea what to expect when I signed up and it was so much better than I could've imagined.  It was inspiring to watch everyone, at different levels, learn about their bodies and push themselves to places they didn't think they could go

I found the ATT Level 2 pushed my practice to a higher level, more so than the Level 1 did.  I completed the Level 1 in March 2009, and although the warm-ups and asana allowed my body to develop, I found the change after Level 2 to be greater than the change after Level 1.  Perhaps it was because the L2 was a 9-day intensive versus a part-time L1 spaced over 3 weeks; or perhaps it was because my body had developed over the past year.  The consecutive daily intensity of the L2 did make it difficult to practice in the morning of the next day since my body was sore.  But once the initial rigidity and soreness was surpassed, I could see benefits from the previous day.  There were certainly asana I could not complete because of natural tightness in my body but I could see how that tightness could be overcome with the help of the warm-ups taught in the course.  The course is not for someone who has recently started yoga; it is for someone who has at least 2 years experience of consistent and advanced practice, who wants to develop to a higher level and who is ready to take on the demands of difficult, intense and constant work for the length of the course.  Working with other students to help them overcome problems was a fantastic way of learning about other bodies, my own body and created wonderful camaraderie amongst the participants.  We still continue to help each other in the Andiappan Class, as we know what the other person needs.  That aspect was not on the syllabus, but was one of the most valuable fruits of the course.
